Dentures and Removable Appliances
If you have removed teeth, you need to replace them. The only exemption is wisdom teeth. The most affordable option is a removable appliance. If you are missing all your teeth a complete denture is needed whereas if you are only missing a few teeth the dentist will diagnose a partial. Denture and partials take a few appointments to complete as they are completely custom to you and your mouth. At the first visit molds will be taken that are sent to our dental lab. If metal is needed for support and structure, the next visit will be a try in of the metal base. Do not worry, our partials and dentures are made to look as natural as possible so little to no metal will be seen in your smile. The following visit will be a wax model of the base sometimes this base will include fake teeth so you can talk to our dentist about the look. You and our dental team will discuss the perfect color for your dentures and partials. If you want a brighter smile before picking your shade for your partial, you may consider an in-office whitening treatment. Once the dentist is happy with the wax fit and look, they will tell the dental lab to create the final removable appliance. At your last visit, some custom adjustments will be made than we get to give you your smile to go home with you.
